Oh my! It's most likely my last 'christmas break'. I hope to get into grad school, but that means no true breaks, just some time to be creative outside of a syllabus...
So, I've decided this break to do several things. To the few who read this, I look forward to your replies.
1. I'm going to start selling my prints. Or at the least, pushing the fact that I do have these prints on sale through deviantart. Currently, I'm without the ability to produce high-quality prints myself. Unless you guys have a suggestion where to sell prints, I'm just going to go through deviantart.
2. I'm working on my senior portfolio. Meaning that, yes, I do have things I'm doing over break. Primarily photographing things that I would typically be unable to photograph during my school-time.
3. Starting a small commission thing. I hope that I will be able to set up something before school starts, but even then.. I hope to be up and running.
4. Looking for a job. Yes, the senior year of undergrad is coming to a close. It's been fun, but I do not want to live with/off my parents for too long. The guilt trip is large enough already.
Currently, I am in an abode of hostility, but that's mainly my fault at snapping from the pressure of an impending graduation coupled with the exasperation of being the bitch of the family. But this does help the creative mind in a twisted way.

Let's not talk about hopes and dreams
Well, I've certainly been gone for a while and god has it been that long I've had a deviantart account.
I'm now 26 and learned the hard way that art will not make money.
Still trying, mostly as I'm currently unemployed. Last job was a contract call center gig and boy was that as fun as a barrell of agitated cats. I've had 3 other jobs, Gamestop bitch, School bookstore bitch, and Data entry bitch.
If you hear someone telling you to go to college for what you love, please proceed to punch them in the nads and realize the phrase in question is a bundle of horse malarkey unless you have the personality of a saint and everyone already loves you
Not Dead Yet!
No, really. I swear. I've just been really busy. Way to busy force my art down your respective throats. I kinda had a job. It was temporary and I get called in every so often. Which is better than nothing, but a dead-end job that pays absolute crap wasn't my idea of life choices. But we all got to start somewhere...
I just wish I got a job based on my qualities and not because a friend was absolutely desperate for a worker, but beggers can't be choosers.
I have come to the conclusion that getting employment in any field is all based on who you know and how forceful you shove your resume down someone's throat. I just need to get more forcefu
I guess free time is a good thing?
Well, with being barely employed, I have a lot of spare time. Hence the massive uploading that I've been doing
Soon, I'll get the last of the darkroom stuff, I just need to get to the darkroom XP
Anyhoo, I'm contemplating selling prints, but first I need to buy a printer. Anyone have any recommendation for a good photo-printer? One that can print luster and other types of paper [such as watercolor]? I'm looking for the best printer for the best price.
Hopefully people will actually want to buy my prints, I've reached that point in my art where people like it, but not that much -.-
Murrr
Can't find work :(
and I have to deal with a post I made on tumblr that's getting people butthurt along with people making fun of me.
Sometimes, I wonder why I even try.
